Songwriter David Rose served as a conscientious objector combat trauma medic during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in the 71st Evac Hospital Emergency Room, 283rd Dustoff medic and 91st Evac Hospital Emergency Room. David had PTSD even before he left Vietnam. Over a fifty year period, David chose busyness and writing as a coping tool. Over the last half century David has authored 26 books, thousands of poems, word puzzles, crosswords and the songs on this website.
David has been continuing to function as a medic to his brothers and sisters even after the war. David has personally awarded over 5,000 Vietnam War 50th Commemoration medals to Vietnam Veterans, Blue Star Spouses and Gold Star Families. Here are a few of David's awards:
David performed standup comedy semi-professionally for about 10 years. In his retirement he still enjoys writing comedy as is shown in the "Senior Life" music album. David also has other outlets for writing his comedy. David has started a new ministry of songwriting. David interviews war veterans and hears their story. He then writes a song for the warrior as a form of honor and respect. See the Songwriting Ministry Page for more information about this songwriting project and for a list of songs that David has created for other veterans and Gold Stars. The name "Echoing Symphony" was selected for David by AI. David has been adopted by the Sioux Nation and was given the name "EaglesWing" which means "High flying messenger". Ironically, the two names are very similar. David has written all of the lyrics to these songs. Then, he uses AI to create the music version of the poem. David is not singing or playing any instruments. There is no recording studio or microphones. David sits in his man cave with his iPhone to create the lyrics and create the AI music. These songs are created with AI, Artificial Intelligence and DI, Divine Inspiration. David has other veteran ministries mentioned below:
